BPPF 2022

The 20th Baltic Peat Producers' Forum BPPF 2022, which took place on September 14-15, 2022 in Riga, Latvia, has ended with good results.
At the forum conference, the participants discussed important issues for the peat industry: the topicality of the regulatory framework of the European Union, the situation in the countries where peat is extracted.
300 participants from 16 countries took part in the forum, i.e. see from Brazil, Mexico, China. Of course, the countries of the Baltic Sea region and the countries of Western Europe were widely represented. 120 companies, 5 peat associations (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden), 5 public organizations, 5 scientific institutions were represented.

Latvian Peat Association has entered contract No. SKV[1]TL-2022/26 with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency for support of the measure “International promotion of competitiveness” program co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
