Peat

Export and import of Latvia

The Central Statistical Bureau includes data on peat export and import for both raw peat and peat products, including peat substrates. The exported products may have different humidity. The amount of extracted peat is calculated by converting to a relative humidity of 40%.

Latvian Peat Association has entered contract No. SKV[1]TL-2022/26 with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency for support of the measure “International promotion of competitiveness” program co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
